Holiday Travel Up from Last Year

Despite a relatively flat national holiday season, the number of Southern Californians taking to the skies and streets this Thanksgiving are up by the thousands. More than 2.9 million people are expected to take holiday trips this weekend – a 4.7 percent increase over the number who traveled last year, according to reports from the Automobile Club of Southern California.
