Holy Cross has been recommended to receive a full 3-Year JCAHO Accreditation. They received 10 RFI's  (opportunities for Improvement). A number of these are quick fixes, and have already been corrected. The JCAHO Survey team was extremely complimentary of the Holy Cross culture of collaboration and communication between the Medical Staff, Employees and Administration.

The Trauma Survey Team from the American College of Surgeons was also on-site at the same time and they made a point of commending Holy Cross on the reduction of Trauma Diversion hours and the excellence of some of their P.I. processes. They also noted the continual improvement in the Trauma Program Quality Processes and Clinical Operations over the past 9 years while experiencing Trauma volume increases.
