Love Ride After Party Set To Rock Route 66

This Sunday, November 12th, The Love Ride will bring over 20 thousand motorcycles through Santa Clarita and on to Castaic Lake, where the Black Crowes will play a concert.

The ride will celebrate its 23rd year in existence, and it has grown to become the largest, single day motorcycle fundraiser in the world.

Last year, the Love Ride raised nearly 1.5 million dollars, which goes to benefit a wealth of charities including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Special Olympics, and Cure Autism Now.

And when the Castaic Lake event winds down, Route 66 Classic Grill on Soledad Canyon road will just be getting heated up with the after party.

Doors open at Route 66 at 1:00pm and the party will kick off with a local band, followed by the Dallas Hodge Band, and former Woodstock headliner Canned Heat.

Over 3,000 motorcycles are expected at this event which has become a bit of a legend in itself over the last 4 years Route 66 has hosted it. Extra security will be present, and the party will extend into a large transformed section of the parking lot.

KHTS’ Shaun Valentine and I will be on scene to talk with attendees and participate in the day’s events which include Monte Perlin, a Hollywood Stunt Man and his “Globe of Death”, which, believe me, is as interesting as it sounds.

The after party will also be raising money for the Love Ride Foundation.

Three seating sections will be available, as well as a VIP section that can be reserved by calling Route 66 at 661-298- 1494. Additional information on the party can be found by clicking here, and information on the Love Ride itself can be found by clicking here.

Dallas Hodge will be on air live at KHTS with Shaun Valentine on Friday, November 10th at 5:00pm.
