Man Killed in Castaic Crash

The unidentified victim’s vehicle was discovered along the floor of a ravine more than 150 feet below Lake Hughes Road.

The man died Sunday after he apparently swerved his car off a remote canyon road north of Castaic Lake, plunging hundreds of feet into a dense cluster of trees.  Reportedly the man was still breathing when a family discovered the crash.
