Newhall Land Chair Looks Back on Career

It was a veritable who’s who of the Santa Clarita Valley on Thursday evening as dozens of people packed into the Tournament Players Club in Westridge to wish Gary Cusumano a happy retirement. Since 2004, Cusumano has served as chairman of The Newhall Land and Farming Co., a position in which he has managed the day-to-day operations of the company that built Valencia and plans to build Newhall Ranch, a 20,885-home community west of Interstate 5.
