Officials Vow to Improve Schools

Principals from two Hart district schools that have scores below the state’s goal recently told board members they intend to improve student achievement at their school. La Mesa Junior High School Principal Pete Fries gave a light hearted, yet serious overview of  his school’s performance to the William S. Hart Union High School District school board on Wednesday, saying he intends for the school to become "the most in demand junior high school in the Santa Clarita Valley."
