Gasoline prices in the Santa Clarita Valley continued to drop throughout the last month as increased production and forecasts for a mild East Coast winter caused a decrease in oil prices. A gallon of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $2.559 in the valley Thursday, which is 8.3 cents lower than last week’s average of $2.642, and 35.9 cents lower than last month’s average of $2.918.
