Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, who represents the district which includes the Santa Clarita Valley, called a mmeting Wednesday night with the intent to curb racism in Wm. S. Hart schools, which has been highly publicized in the last couple of months….
The meeting, to be held at College of the Canyons, is expected to bring in representatives from the FBI’s Hate Crim Task Force, the U.S. Department of Justice, the NAACP, Counth Human Relations Commission, Sheriff’s Deputies, Probation and Public Safety officers, and local clergy members.
This meeting is being called completely separate from the ad hoc committee that has been formed by the Hart District.
This meeting on racism issues will start Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the COC Performing Arts Center.
