Metrolink service is expected to be back to normal Monday following this week’s derailment tragedy that left 11 people dead and injured nearly 200.
But no service will be offered today, said Denise Tyrrell, Metrolink Spokeswoman
Monday, “trains will will be slower moving through the area of the accident, moving about 30 mph,” Tyrrell said.
Those who want to take buses as an alternative may visit www.metro.net for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, or avta.com for the Antelope Valley Transit Authority.
“We sure wish to thank the people on the Antelope Valley Line for their incredible patience”, Tyrell Said.
