The Newhall Land and Farming Co. says that the label of the Santa Clara River being one of “America’s most endangered rivers of 2005” is wrong….

Spokespeople from Newhall Land claim that the environmental group making this claim has not met with them….  The declaration implies that Newhall Land is not concerned with the environment, while Newhall Land officials claim that with new developments, such as the recently proposed one on Newhall Ranch, take the environment into careful consideration.
