San Francisquito Canyon Road to Open in March

As a result of last year’s winter storms San Francisquito Canyon Road sustained major damage, including washouts and landslides. But the major commuting route that runs from the northern Santa Clarita Valley to the Antelope Valley will be open at the end of March, Said Melinda Barrett, head of the public relations group for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. The Road has been up in a limited capacity since June, with the help of a pilot car program.
