Saugus Wins Coin Toss To Play Friday Night at COC

Last week, both Hart and Saugus earned their right to host their next second round football playoff game for CIF Southern Section, Northern Division.

Today, Hart High Principal Gary Fuller and Saugus Principal Bill Bolde flipped a coin to determine who gets the Friday night, 7:30pm time slot at College of the Canyons. Saugus won, and will play at COC at 7:30 on Friday.

Having lost the coin toss, Hart had the option of playing at Valencia High School on Friday night, or at College of the Canyons on Saturday night. In a surprise move, Hart elected to play at COC, Friday afternoon at 3:30.

Here is the complete schedule for Friday’s playoff games:

Hart will play the St. Bonaventure Seraphs at 3:30 at COC.

Saugus will play the Moorpark Musketeers at 7:30 at COC.

KHTS will broadcast both the Hart game, (pre-game at 3pm) and the Saugus Game (pre-game) at 7pm on Friday. Canyon will also be playing their playoff game on Friday night. KHTS shall deliver live updates of that game.
