Recycling Campaign uncovers rare photo!
In an effort to promote a valleywide recycling campaign, KHTS searched City Councilman Bob Kellar's recycling bin this morning and discovered this picture of Bob as a youth with big aspirations!
Now we know Bob's law enforcement career began much earlier than first suspected. Understandably, Bob does not want this photo to get in the hands of potential political rivals. Unfortunately for him, KHTS feels obligated to share this picture with our listeners.
Kellar's response?
"Where did you find that? I'll get even with you guys!"
It's our shameless effort to plug recycling. KHTS AM-1220 has teamed up with the City of Santa Clarita and Blue Barrel/Waste Management in an effort to drive up the percentage we recycle.
You can help and have fun at the same time by picking up one of our recycling stickers at KHTS radio (corner of Soledad & Camp Plenty Rd., City Hall, or at Waste Management. Place the sticker on your recycling bin. The KHTS prize patrol will be cruising neighborhoods every week, giving away a stash of prizes including tickets to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor, Edwards Movie theater family four packs, Dodger tickets, and monthly prizes of one year's free trash pick up.
