SHS Game Ends in Uproar

After Saugus High School lost their final basketball game of the season to Burbank, 55-52, Thursday night, sheriff’s deputies were called to settle things down…

Officials are not all in agreement as to what exactly happened, but reports of fights or simply high tension followed the game.  Principle Bill Bolde claims there were no fights at Saugus while a sheriff’s official says there was in fact a fight on campus.  Confusion aside, the Saugus boys’ basketball team finished its season 6-20 overall and 1-9 in Foothill League play.  For more on this story visit
