Sierra Highway Fire Burns 1 Acre

Two brush fires broke out Thursday between Sierra Highway and Highway 14 burning about one acre…

After being notified of the fire around 4 p.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department was able to extinguish the fires by 4:32 p.m.  Sierra Highway had been blocked and a Sigalert was issued for Highway 14; however, no injuries or structure damage was reported.  Officials are currently investigating the cause of the fires.
