A local skateboarder turned pro was among those invited to compete in an inaugural contest marking the launch of a new surf & skate store in Stevenson Ranch Sunday.

“It’s unreal,” said Justin Eldridge, of Saugus.  “I wake up every day & I can’t believe I’m doing what I want to do.”
