Zonta Tribute Takes Over Odyssey Print E-mail

The Zonta Club of Santa Clarita filled out a banquet room with over 300 people on Friday night to raise money for charity, and to honor Carl and Jeri Goldman.

Several speakers participated in paying tribute to Carl and Jeri including Dr. Ronald Singer, Don Fleming, Paul Strickland and Bob Kellar.

Rep, Howard “Buck” McKeon was in attendance along with State Senator George Runner and his wife, Assemblywoman Sharon Runner.

Throughout the night, items were auctioned off and people gathered from all areas of Santa Clarita to pledge money for the Zonta Club.

Zonta will use the money from Friday night’s event to contribute to Women’s education, leadership and youth development, as well as many local, national and international charities.
