First Presbyterian Church of Newhall was founded in 1891 and is well known as
the oldest church in the Santa Clarita Valley.
The first service held in the original New England style church was attended by 16
members. Services have continued from that time to the present on this site.
The original church bell is now located on the patio near
the building which now serves as our Fellowship Hall and Education
Building.
While rich in history, First Presbyterian Church of Newhall
has always sought to be relevant and dynamic in the ways
we minister in the community. As symbolized in our current logo at First Presbyterian Church
we invite people to follow Jesus Christ in a community where we

EMBRACE one another in love,
ENCOURAGE spiritual growth and
EQUIP every person for ministry in the church and world.
