First off Kristin is joined by Clark Everett, Community Organizer; Fixyourcalendar.com to discuss on ongoing controversy in some of our local school districts
“The concern comes when you end up having children in the elementary school district and the Hart district,” Clark on the calendar controversy.
“There are so many days that do not align, the Newhall (school district) calendar and the Hart (school district),” Clark on the 26-day calendar disparity between the districts.
“Any one of these ‘Vacation Days’ that do not align are not vacation days for these parents,” Clark on the impact of this discrepancy.

“It’s gets you working alongside the car seat manufacturers, and that is really valuable because over 450 car seats are on the market,” Saarah on one of the ways CPS (Child Passenger Safety) Technicians are able to secure your children properly.
“3 out of 4 (child seats) are not installed properly or are not being used properly” Saarah on the prevelance of childseats being misused.
