Dr. Gregory Jenkins was born in Van Nuys California and spent much of his childhood traveling around the world with his family and his Air Force member father.
After moving to Newhall in 1966 and earning his Associate Degree in the first graduating class at College of the Canyons, Dr. Jenkins transferred to UCLA. He earned his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and returned to California to complete his residency training in the UCLA Internal Medicine Program.
He then returned to Santa Clarita and began his family practice with offices in Newhall and Friendly Valley. Dr. Jenkins completed an additional Occupational Medicine residency training program at the School of Medicine, University of Cincinnati.

Dr Gregory Jenkins has continued to provide the Santa Clarita Valley with his high level of medical service, working as medical staff leader at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital and currently sits on the Medical Staff Executive Board and is dedicated to improving the care and quality of Santa Clarita hospitals.
Dr Jenkins believes that all doctors should work to help raise the standards and quality of their local hospitals and he makes sure to be an example of this and started his own private practice 26 years ago where Dr. Jenkins is able to continue to work to provide Santa Clarita residents with high level health care that is always improving and growing in scope and scale.
Working to help his community is very important to Dr. Jenkins and he has served as board member of the American Red Cross and on the College of the Canyons Foundation Board. He donated many hours of support to the William S. Hart Softball program and field maintenance, as well as offering his service to hospitals and medical buildings all around the area.
Working to help the public doesn’t end in the Santa Clarita Valley he also is a member of Flying Samaritans of Mercy and La Liga International, flying down to mexico every six weeks to deliver medical supplies and offer medical services to rural residents.
