Santa Clarita Gazette Radio Hour – November 14, 2014
Wow! It’s another wonderful Gazette Radio Hour with Doug and John! They first spoke to Miss Classified who informed them about some great deals in the Santa Clarita Valley! Miss Classified spoke of a new robot vacuum being sold for only $50, but John said that those vacuums freaked him out because you never knew when they were moving.
Resident KHTS news director Perry stopped by to talk about Sean Penn and Charlize Theron hanging out as Vasquez Rocks at six in the morning, as well as the Lancaster mayor and the Palmdale mayor possibly battling for a Congressional seat. The Saugus union school district also has four candidates vying for a vacant seat. Perry also gave a shout-out to the local domestic violence organization!
Gazette national correspondent and columnist Rob Lewis also stopped by to talk about the Ron Gruber Obamacare debacle. Gruber has come out several times saying that Obamacare was passed due to the ignorance of the American voter. Doug says this comment doesn’t bother him as much as the fact that it reveals the attitude of the administration toward the American people. The subject of executive orders was also mentioned. Rob says that executive orders, which allow a government official to pardon felons on the way out of office, throw the American system of checks and balances out the window. All three also speculated whether Hilary Clinton would run for President in 2016.
