Lockheed Federal Credit Union announces March Student of the Month winners. Print E-mail

Lockheed Federal Credit Union announced two winners of their “Student of the

Month” program for the month of March.  Valencia High School senior Jojo Robinson and Rio Norte Junior High seventh grader Amanda Sadra were chosen by their principals for their outstanding achievement in academics and citizenship.

Jojo Robinson is on the Principal’s Honor Roll and maintains a GPA of 3.83, while participating in varsity basketball and holding down other leadership roles in extra-curricular activities.

Amanda Sadra also shows exemplary accomplishments in academics, sports and student government, and is described by principal John Krinkel as, “A bright, mature citizen who is willing to help her peers, teachers, and anyone else who needs her.”

LFCU’s “Student of the Month” program, newly launched within the William S. Hart School District, recognizes two students each month throughout the academic year from each high school and junior high.  Winning high school students receive a cash award of $250 and junior high students receive a $250 savings bond.  The student’s school receives $250.  LFCU has a similar program within the district recognizing outstanding athletes during the football, basketball and baseball seasons.

Congratulations to Jojo Robinson and Amanda Sadra from Lockheed Federal Credit Union and AM-1220, KHTS!
