Around the country, the issue of soda machines on school campuses continues to be a big issue...
Vending machines are huge moneymakers for ASB departments at schools all over the country, including SCV schools, primarily in the Wm. S. Hart District. But as the studies on obesity began surfacing in 2001 (http://www.cnn.com/2001/HEALTH/diet.fitness/02/15/soda.obesity/index.html), new studies (courtesy of CNN) continue to surface on the controversy (http://www.cnn.com/2004/EDUCATION/01/05/no.sodas.ap/index.html).
It is only a matter of time before parents in the Wm. S. Hart District must begin debate the issue. How do you feel about it?
