Currently the President of American Family Funding’s Southern California Region, Fred has been a Mortgage Broker since 1994. After graduating from Cal State Northridge in 1991, Fred began his career at First Nationwide Bank. He received mentoring by many at the bank. Soon, he realized that what separated the best from the rest was: -a solid marketing plan. -a solid business and life plan -becoming a consultant to his clients by helping his client reach their long and short term goals -community and charity involvement He began following the likes of Todd Duncan, Steven Marshall and other proven trainers and modeled his marketing program, time management, and delegation skills after those he respected and believed in. In 1994, Fred ventured into the brokerage side of origination. However, after seeing three companies he worked with either go out of business or downsize, he was inspired to start his own brokerage firm, California First Financial. Fred began being asked to speak on Creating Clients for Life as a result of his dedication to the commitment of giving the most to his clients and creating a business that is 100% referral based. His belief is that if you help enough people get what they want, then you will always achieve your goals and dreams in life. In 2003, he joined forces with American Family Funding. His Southern California branch currently closes $120,000,000 with five loan originators per year.
Fred served on the Board of Directors for Matadors Community Credit Union as both a volunteer and Director for just over nine years. Fred is the past President for the Los Angeles Chapter of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers and serves on the State Board of Directors. He is also heavily involved with the National MS Society. He resides in Southern California and is married with four children. |
