With his vast knowledge of horses and a strong connection with our community, John Tabak hosts “Along the Trail” with Mike Dowler - Saturday mornings at 9:00 on AM-1220 KHTS.
A native Californian, John has been a resident of these parts since 1973. He currently resides on a 5-acre ranch in Acton with his wife Shirley and is very active in the equestrian community.
He’s the voice for the National Barrel Horse Association in the State of California and the American West 4D barrel Racing Association. He also does voiceover work for various equine products.
John Tabak is a Fire Inspector in Santa Clarita with 34 years of service to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. He started with AM-1220 KHTS 2 years ago with his “Fire Prevention Fast Fact Tip of the Week” – a feature heard each Tuesday Morning on the KHTS Hometown Morning show with John Summers.
When major fires and related incidents happen in Santa Clarita, John can be heard on KHTS providing updated information. |
