Heather Martinez hosts the Most Music Hour on AM-1220 KHTS.

Heather is often asked how she got started in radio.  She grew up in Ventura, used to perform in plays and musicals and was asked to come down to the radio station and read a few commercials.  She fell in love with this industry.  At 17, she would hang out there after school and practice recording and adding music and sound effects.   It was an internship that changed her path forever.  

Eventually she learned how to produce commercials, write and work on the air.  She was hired as a side kick in the morning and worked as a production assistant. 

A stint with Tokyo Disneyland took her to Japan for a year where she performed as Mary Poppins.  Upon arriving home, she won the title of Miss Colorado Springs, and continued her marketing and radio education at Pikes Peak Community College.  

Weekend overnights at one station lead to mornings at another.  She has been on the air in Colorado Springs, Denver, San Diego and Los Angeles.  

23 years later, Heather has voiced hundreds of commercials and narrations and lives with her husband and daughter in Castaic, CA.  Her favorite part of living in Santa Clarita is being so close to Magic Mountain.  It’s a childhood dream come true!
