For more than 30 years Genghis Khan has served the Santa Clarita Valley as the only Mongolian barbecue.

Genghis Khan is set up to custom build a delicious and appetizing Mongolian barbecued plate. They have fresh pork, beef, chicken, and more than twenty kinds of fresh vegetables to put into your meal; different sauces to make it taste how you like and a chef ready to put it on the barbecue with the perfect temperature and technique. It is all of these combined that owners Angela and Alan say will help you “make your own favorites.” The barbecue brings out the overwhelmingly tasteful flavors of every item for a truly satisfying dining experience.

Because one’s health is important, owner Angela Deng was sure to state that their meals are “very healthy” and have “no preservatives.”

Aside from the Mongolian Barbecue, Genghis Khan has an extensive soup and salad bar. They also serve Chinese menu items from the kitchen and offer beer and wine. And to keep the Chinese culture alive they serve fresh tea all day every day.

The restaurant is “serve yourself by design” but the servers are still available for each table whether to bring drinks or to welcome you with their honest smiles.  They are open for lunch and dinner and are a casual restaurant great for families, students and a great spot to stop by during your lunch hour.

When asked one of the most unique parts of their restaurant besides being a Mongolian BBQ, owners Angela and Alan reiterated that everything is “fresh.” Genghis Khan is a fresh choice and if you have never had Mongolian BBQ it is surely the place to try it out.
