The business center that holds the Canyon Country Post Office is home to more than just envelopes and lunch break traffic. Past the Post Office and the Pawn Shop is Mom Can Cook, a family owned and operated Thai Kitchen.

In October 2003 Mom Can Cook was opened simply because “Mom Can Cook” and no longer wanted to work for someone else. All of the recipes are hers and she is in the restaurant every morning before it opens making sauces and preparing food.

The menu is authentic Thai food that is rich, spicy, and delicious. The traditional Thai cooking they offer remains original with fresh herbs and spices. All of their produce is brought in daily. Everything on the menu is a blend of mouth watering flavor and made to order.

From the moment you walk in until you leave you are a part of the family and welcomed into a home away from home. They are more than a friendly staff but people who cannot help but make you smile. You will recognize Chris and Matt working there and I can almost guarantee they will remember you.

The restaurant is definitely one of the Santa Clarita Valley’s best-kept secrets but is continuously growing. In August of 2010 they doubled the size of their facility to increase their capacity to serve the valley.
