The Tea Gardens awakens the French culture in the Santa Clarita Valley. The majority of our nation is hooked on coffee, but there is a new tea buzz.
The Santa Clarita Valley’s Tea Gardens have been ahead of the game. They have been in business for four and a half years.
Co-owner Mike Meguerditchian says his family had previously served tea through a catering business and the garden café was his mom’s concept.
The Tea Gardens is your perfect destination for a morning cup of tea, breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. They have over seventy tea varieties, a bakery and a menu with items such as breakfast, sandwiches, wraps and salads.
The food they serve is “food they would offer their own family.” It is a “fairly healthy” menu as a whole with many options. They serve organic teas and a variety of choices.
The goal of the staff is to provide the “best service possible” and even the owners stand behind the counter, in the kitchen and serve customers. They have a French outlook and are quick to assure customers that it is not merely a women’s destination but is male friendly. With both indoor and outdoor seating it is welcome to all.

Owner Mike would recommend the Mimi salad with their homemade mustard cream vinaigrette dressing. Also a noteworthy option is the Afternoon Tea, which includes a three-tiered stand with scones, fruits, chocolates and more.
The Tea Gardens owners and staff are dedicated to their business and craft. They have all family recipes including the scone recipe that took about a year to perfect. It is definitely a high-class establishment with a comfortable and inviting feel.
The Tea Gardens is also available for tea parties and catering. And for a money saving opportunity they have a Happy Hour weekdays from 3pm to 4pm and offer half off tea and discounted menu items.
