“A vehicle exited a private property driveway” around 9:50 p.m., said detective Mark Cramer with the station’s traffic unit. “Another vehicle was travelling south on Bouquet. The vehicle that came out of the driveway sideswiped the other vehicle, causing that (southbound) vehicle to lose control.”
The car spun out and hit a fire hydrant and a utility pole before coming to a stop, he said. The driver was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, where they died from their injuries.
The driver who hit the southbound vehicle was not arrested, Cramer said, and the crash is still under investigation.
The driver who was killed was not identified by Sheriff’s officials pending notification of their next of kin.

Would be helpful if it was mentioned where on Bouquet Canyon… This article and many others posted makes me think the philosophy of your news source is: read our headlines, but find out the actual details somewhere else.
Agreed…

Your articles are awful and lack description and content
“The driver was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, where they died from their injuries.” OK, so how many people were killed. In one sentence you have both singular and plural tenses. It does make it harder to understand what is happening.
Another few moments waisted trying to learn more beyond the headline. So frustrating!
