Pursuit From San Diego County Ends In Santa Clarita (VIDEO)

 A pursuit through Southern California ended in Santa Clarita Tuesday night after California Highway Patrol officers deployed a spike strip to stop a vehicle which had led them on a chase from San Diego County.

The female driver of the vehicle was originally flagged down by officers for high speed around 7 p.m., according to NBC Los Angeles. But the driver took off, driving north through Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Initial reports indicate nobody had been hurt during the chase.

Around 10:20 p.m., officers arrested the woman, who stopped on the 5 freeway between the Mcbean Parkway and Magic Mountain Parkway off-ramps.
