A vehicle reportedly caught fire on the southbound 14 freeway in Agua Dulce Tuesday evening, slowing traffic.
Just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, reports were received of a vehicle fire on the southbound 14 freeway near Agua Dulce Canyon Road in Agua Dulce.
“There was no spread to the brush,” said Art Marrujo with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “There were no injuries reported either.”
California Highway Patrol units began holding southbound traffic on SR-14 north of the Agua Dulce exit to allow first responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department to access the burning truck.
“The truck was on the shoulder, partially blocking the offramp,” said Officer Brandt with CHP Traffic Management.
