USPS Holiday Shipping Deadlines Fast Approaching

Santa Clarita Residents are quickly running out of time to ship their holiday gifts ahead of looming USPS deadlines.

The U.S. Postal Service expects the coming week (Dec.17-23) to be the busiest of the holiday season, with nearly 3 billion pieces of First-Class Mail to be processed and delivered before Christmas.

Overall, the U.S. Postal Service expects to make nearly 16 billion deliveries this holiday season, with 15 billion pieces of mail and 900 million packages being delivered between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, according to a statement made in early November.
