SCHEDULE FOR MAY 14TH AND MAY 15TH SANTA CLARITA BUS TOUR
Monday, May 14th
*     Arrive in Sacramento @ 2:30pm (Check into Hyatt if we arrive earlier)

 3:00pm – Assemblyman Smyth – Opening Remarks

 3:30 – 3:50pm – Meet with Assemblyman Bennoit – Member of Budget Subcommittee #5,

Information Technology/Transportation

3:50pm – Head over to State Library for VIP Tour of the California

State Library – Tour starts at 4:00.

5:30pm – Check into Hotel

6:45pm – Cocktails @ Firehouse Restaurant – (Meet at Bus in Front of Hyatt at 6:40pm to ride to Firehouse Restaurant)

7:30pm – Dinner @ Firehouse Restaurant – Opening remarks

7:35pm Speaker – Chris Kahn, Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Affairs Secretary for Governor Schwarzenegger

BACK UP in case of last minute issue – Michael Prosio, Deputy Legislative Affairs Secretary for Governor Schwarzenegger

 8:30am – 9:00am Group meets with State Senator George Runner

 9:00am – 9:30am Group meets with Assemblyman Mike Feuer -  Chair, Budget Subcommittee #5, Information Technology/Transportation

 9:30am – 10:00am – Group meets w/ Assemblyman Krekorian, Chair, Select Committee on the Preservation of the Film Industry

10:00am -10:30am Group meets w/ Assemblyman Portantino,  Capitol Room Chair, Assembly Higher Education Committee

10:30am – 11:30– Group takes VIP tour of Capitol Park 

Tour Office will come to Room 127 to pick up group.

 11:30 – 1:00 – Lunch on own – Check out of hotel

 1:15 – 2:00pm – Meeting with Will Kempton, Director of Cal Trans

 2:15pm – 3:00 – Meeting with Chris Reefe, Legislative Director for State Department of Education,

Topic: Special Education

 3:00pm – Cameron gives closing remarks

 3:30pm –  Senator Tom McClintock

 Individual Lobbying Time and Depart for Santa Clarita at 4:45pm

 4:45pm – Bus Departs for Santa Clarita from in front of the Hyatt.
