Sacramento Road Trip 2011

sacramento

Our 2011 Sacramento Road Trip took place on March 21st and 22nd 2011 as 73 Santa Clarita community leaders traveled to our State Capitol on our 6th annual journey. Our trip was hosted and coordinated by KHTS AM-1220 radio and State Assemblyman Cameron Smyth.

This year’s trip focused on saving funding for Mental Health and Education. Other topics included the widening of the I-5 Freeway in Santa Clarita, choride in our water, the Peripheral Canal, and saving the Enterprise and Economic Development Zones.
We want to thank this year’s trip sponsors; AT&T, Castaic Lake Water Agency and the Facey Medical Group.
Our trip is dedicated to former California Assemblyman Keith Richman who created the idea with KHTS owner, Carl Goldman.
