The funds, which were donated by Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, will be used to support the Club’s two full Club houses providing over 1,500 children, ages 7-17, with daily access to well-rounded opportunities during non-school hours, providing them with a sense of belonging, competence, usefulness and positive influence at the Newhall and Canyon Country locations.
“We are so grateful for the continued support of Supervisor Antonovich,” said Diane Fiero, president of the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley governing board. “The funds will support our important work with young people in our community. Our programs enable kids to grow, thrive, and feel safe while their parents are at work.”
