The Soledad Fire was first reported to the LACoFD at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to fire department officials.
“The fire is at two acres in light fuel, with no structure threatened,” said Mike Pittman, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Units on scene have requested all Metrolink traffic on the Antelope Valley Line be stopped until the fire is contained.
But firefighters are working in favorable conditions.
“Winds do not sound like they are a concern at this point,” Pittman said.
