A brush fire has burned at least one acre in Canyon Country, behind a row of homes on a residential street, officials said.

UPDATE: Forward progress on the grass fire has been stopped at about one acre, according to fire officials.
The blaze, dubbed the Orchid Fire by first responders, was first reported at about 11:20 a.m. near the 14000 block of Daisy Meadow Street in Canyon Country, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire is not currently threatening any structures, said fire officials.
