Come see the largest emergency expo in California at the 9th annual KHTS Home and Garden Show, Saturday April 28 at Central Park.

The Emergency Expo is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be connected to the KHTS Home and Garden show, which will be taking place the whole weekend at Central Park in Saugus.

The KHTS Home and Garden Show is the largest trade show held in the Santa Clarita Valley, and with over 400 vendors registered, this year is looking to be the biggest one yet.

In addition to the Emergency Expo, this year’s Home and Garden show is set to feature the Home and Garden Marketplace, Earth Arbor Day Festival and an arts and crafts fair.

Admission to the shows are free and open to the public.

The Emergency Expo will have displays, presentations and drills put on by Santa Clarita emergency services in partnership with the City of Santa Clarita and Los Angeles County officials.

Visitors can meet with exhibitors and vendors to learn about emergency preparedness and purchase emergency related products.

Attendees will be afforded the opportunity to climb on-board fire engines, activate the sirens on a sheriff’s vehicle and watch a special demonstration of the “Jaws of Life” which showcases rescue techniques used by the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Attendees will also see Search & Rescue animals and horses.

Children are invited to experience the Shakey Quakey House, which simulates an earthquake inside the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s mobile classroom, and Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital plans to present alongside numerous other emergency and safety businesses and organizations.

The Emergency Expo is scheduled for Saturday only, but emergency vendors will be at the KHTS Home and Garden show the whole weekend.

The KHTS Home and Garden Show will take place on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Central Park located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road.
