A woman from Canyon Country was arrested Friday for allegedly attempting to ram a man in his car with her own vehicle in what Sheriff’s officials described as a road rage incident.

Taylor Peavy, 23, was arrested when deputies heard from the victim and a witness who said she rammed her vehicle into the victim’s car.

“When they get there on scene, another witness showed up and said (the situation) had been ongoing,” said Sgt. Joel Nebel with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “(The victim) thought he might be getting robbed.”

Deputies did not see the initial incident, but determined Peavy was an assault with a deadly weapon suspect after investigating the scene.

“It matched the damage on the cars,” Nebel said. “It looked like she intentionally tried to use the motor vehicle as a weapon.”

Peavy was taken into custody and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. Her bail was set at $30,000.
