Medical examiners identified a man whose body was found on Christmas Day near Agua Dulce.

A pair of horseback riders spotted the remains of Allen Aghishian, 45, according to officials with the Coroner’s Office.

It was unclear how long Aghishian’s body was at the location where it was found, but detectives have not released any indication of foul play.

Homicide Det. Brandt House is investigating the nature of the discovery, but did not respond to a request for comment for this story.

The riders spotted the around 4 p.m. during a Dec. 25 ride, according to a Sheriff’s Station report.

An internet search for Aghishian revealed an address listed on the 8300 block of Escondido Canyon Road near the same area.

No cause of death has been determined at this time, according to the Coroner’s Office.
