Alongside four stages featuring several highly-anticipated Cowboy Festival musical acts, William S. Hart Park will also host numerous Western attractions throughout the park.
Festival visitors can test their rodeo skills on the twists, turns, bucks and jolts of the mechanical bull, or unleash their inner cowboy as they try to rope an almost-real calf from a life-size horse. Adventurous attendees can try hatchet throwing, take aim at the archery range or practice their “slick-shootin” with laser tag quick-draw.
At 12:45 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Heritage Junction will be transformed into a battleground for Civil War reenactments. Visitors can see history come to life as soldiers from both sides of the Civil War reenact life on a campaign.
Actors interested in joining the living history encampments can contact Ed Mann at howitzers1@aol.com for more information.
Popular Cowboy Festival activities will return, including gun spinning, trick roping, Native American dancers, living history exhibits and much more.
