Marcos Flores, 21, of Castaic, was arrested around 6 p.m. at a residence on the 30000 block of Daisy Court, according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials.

Deputies took Flores into custody after serving a search warrant on a property he was known to reside at, and finding drugs and stolen property.

The station’s Special Assignment Team, which is similar to a Special Weapons And Tactics unit, served the warrant Wednesday evening, finding methamphetamine and a stolen car.

He was on probation for a grand theft charge for a previous car theft.

He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and for taking a vehicle without owner’s consent.
