Nobody was injured in the crash, according to deputies at the scene.

Witnesses described a single vehicle rolled over onto its roof.

“It was completely flipped over on the hood,” said Alysha Hacker, a resident trapped on the roadway by the closure.

Sheriff’s officials confirmed they had closed down Placerita Canyon Road in both directions for an unknown amount of time.

“We’ve got a car accident over there,” said Lt. Leo Bauer from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “We had to close down some of the road to investigate it.”

  1. I was wondering if the driver was okay, my husband and coworker helped him get out from underneath his vehicle. I hope he’s doing good.
