Investigators from the Federal Bureau of Investigation have joined Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies investigating a bank robbery that was reported at Wells Fargo at Lyons and Wiley Canyon Road in Newhall.

The incident was reported at 2:38 p.m.
The suspect was a white male in a white shirt in his 50s. He is still being sought by deputies at this time.
The suspect handed the teller a note indicating he had a weapon and demanding money.
No one was hurt in the incident and no weapon was seen by witnesses, according to officials
An unknown amount of cash was taken from the location, per Sheriff’s Station officials.
The suspect left the location on foot. Deputies are still investigating the area.
