Deputies Seek Robbery Suspect In Canyon Country

Deputies are seeking a robbery suspect after a Canyon Country check-cashing store was robbed in broad daylight Tuesday, officials said.

The afternoon robbery was reported to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials at the Check Into Cash from 18553 Soledad Canyon Road.

Deputies were still searching for a suspect as of 1:45 p.m., Sheriff’s Station officials said. 

Deputies were reportedly searching for a suspect in the Santa Clara River wash near the store’s location.
