Dodgers Back At Dodger Stadium For Three Straight NLCS Games

Come Wednesday night, the Dodgers could be headed back to the World Series with the opportunity to end a 30-year championship drought.

Dodgers fought well and hard in the first two games of this 2018 National League Championship Series, grinding out Game 2 after being down 3-0. They scored four runs in the seventh inning and eighth innings, showing resolve and championship mettle.

Now, they are back in the friendly confines of Chavez Ravine among millions in a city desperate for World Series glory. Fans and pundits often talk about the ridiculousness of a 2-3-2 series format, but for the road team that steals Game 1 or 2, it sets up beautifully to have three straight games at home. For opposing teams, those three games can feel like an eternity.

Walker Beuhler takes the mound for Los Angeles, looking to put the grand slam he gave up in the Divisional Series against Atlanta well behind him.

Dave Roberts has already said that Yasmani Grandal will be back starting behind the plate in Game 3. He had a Game 1 to forget.

With Manny Machado and Matt Kemp swinging the bat well, and Justin Turner announcing his presence in Game 2, the Dodgers appear right on track.

First pitch this evening is at 4:39, and you can listen to every inning of action live on your home for the Dodgers’ postseason, KHTS FM 98.1.
