Los Angeles County Fire Department Responded to a call late afternoon near McBean Pkwy.
Upon arrival, LACoFD Noticed smoking coming from an electrical pole, they contained the area for safety precautions and waited for California Edison to arrive.
According to Southern California Edison, damaged equipment at Riverside Lane in Valencia caused the outages.
One outage was reported at the intersection of Dickason Drive and Decor Drive and the other occurred at Chadsford Drive, near Mc Bean Pkwy.
SCE workers are currently working on location to restore service to approximately 2,500 Valencia residents.
Southern California Edison estimates power will not be fully restored till approximately 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27.
