It’s our worst nightmare… A high speed rail running right through our backyard… just a few feet from Sulphur Springs elementary school… speeding right past Pinecrest school’s playground.

Barbecues in your backyard? Imagine the sound and vibration of a train pounding right past many of our homes.
No more sleeping with your windows open. And what do we gain from it? Not a thing.
This high speed rail won’t even stop in Santa Clarita.
You can stop this train from speeding through our Valley by attending an emergency meeting for all Santa Clarita Residents at Canyon High School’s gym on Monday evening, April 27 at 7 p.m.
We need to show up in masses to let the California High Speed Rail authority realize the dire impact their choices will have on Santa Clarita.
Thanks to Gov. Brown, this train has left the station without hearing about the negative impact it will have on our homes, our schools, our business and our kids.
Our city is supporting an alternative that will avoid the negative impact on our valley by building a straight tunnel from Burbank to Palmdale, where the train will actually have a planned stops.
The cost is anticipated to be almost the same and the city’s alternative will entirely bypass the Santa Clarita Valley.
It’s critical for state officials to hear why this alternative will be the smart choice.
We need you to join us at this emergency meeting for ALL Santa Clarita residents. Monday, April 27 at 7 p.m. at the Canyon High Gym.
We need YOU there. Details at www.santa-clarita.com/hsr
