KHTS broadcast live from the opening of the brand new mini market located on Copper Hill Drive in the La Cocina parking lot Saturday.

Residents could stop by all day for free pizza and drinks, some hot dogs, and face painting at the newly opened mini market.

KHTS had Seco Mini Market owner Monty Alrabadi live on air to discuss his journey opening the store. He spoke about the year of coming up with the idea to the store opening and the challenges along the way.

Throughout the day raffle tickets were distributed with one lucky guest going home with tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood.

 

“The people around here, they love us, and I am happy everything turned out (well),” said Alrabadi.

“I just want thank the people of Santa Clarita for their support.”

Seco Mini Market Saugus is located at 28028 Seco Canyon Road, by La Cocina Bar & Grill.
